
Apparently, they come from Canada, were brought to the States to be exhibited in zoos, and then escaped and started mating and migrating all over the place.
I don't like them. They look like little black skunks running across our front yard.
When somebody says I'm rockin' too hard, I'm like, "You're flippin' RIGHT I'm flippin' rockin' too hard!!"

My parents have a few in their backyard, too, and there are a ton at MFGAM.
Apparently, the big Zoo Where You Live was the first zoo to allow the escape and subsequent US colonization of the black squirrel.
Perhaps you should write about that in Your Publication!
